FAQ

Useful Information

How do I join?

All new members should fill out the New Member Form

There are two membership options:

Option1: Join the CNSA at SJSU campus org. The membership fee is $20 and includes our current club shirt. You will be eligible for a CNSA cord after 3 active semesters and can note that you were an active member of "California Nursing Students' Association at San José State".

Option 2: Join NSNA (membership is about $40/year). This makes you an automatic member of CNSA and CNSA at SJSU will recognize you as a chapter member as well. In other words, this makes you an "official" member of the state and national student nurse organizations. This waives the $20 membership fee and still gives you access to the current club shirt and makes you eligible for both the CNSA cord and stole after 3 active semesters. You will have free or reduced cost to state and national conferences and resources to prepare you for applying for jobs, taking the NCLEX, and more. You can note that you were an active member of "National Student Nurses' Association", "California Nursing Association", and "California Nursing Students' Association at San José State".
